SUPPLIER MEET-UP EVENTS
For Travel Suppliers of any kind, including tour operators, hotels, airlines, insurance providers, and business services, we encourage you to take part in our monthly Supplier Meet-Up series! This is a special opportunity to showcase your company's unique offering, answer insightful questions from travel advisors, and help our members connect with your business and each other. When you sponsor a monthly meet-up, you are the only supplier in attendance so the focus is entirely on you.
We offer both in-person meet-up opportunities and virtual (and we're working on a hybrid option as well!)
Our mission is to help Travel Advisors excel in their businesses. To encourage this, we are starting a new bimonthly Business Builder event series. The goal for these events is to teach new skills to Travel Advisors, who are entrepreneurs from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. Topics might include personal professional development, accounting, marketing, technology, financial wellbeing, healthcare and insurance, or any other topic that helps our members become better businesspeople.
The Business Builder series is open to partners from the Travel Industry (such as travel-specific software platforms, experts, or service providers) as well as local Colorado & Wyoming businesses who have expertise that can benefit this market (including financial advisors, insurance brokers, technology providers, etc). While the primary focus of these events is skills training, you are welcome to spend a few minutes introducing and promoting your business as a "next step" following the presentation.
We are in the early stages of exploring ways to connect our members with other local businesses in Colorado and Wyoming.
Rocky Mountain Member Advantage Program One area we're exploring is a region-specific Members Advantage Program for ASTA Members. At the national level, ASTA has negotiated discounted pricing on a variety of business-related goods and services via ASTA Member Advantage, an ASTA-affiliated company. Participating businesses include vendors of office supplies, business insurance, computers and branded merchandise. Participating Member Advantage Program vendors must meet rigorous standards for quality and performance and pledge to offer ASTA members pricing that is as low or lower than that available elsewhere in the marketplace.
We would like to design a similar offering specific to local businesses in Colorado & Wyoming. This is early stages, but if you are a local business please reach out to express your interest and we'll keep you in the loop.
Other Advertising In the future, we may be open to accepting advertisements from select local businesses. Program parameters are still being designed, but if you might be interested in helping Rocky Mountain Travel Advisors with your services, please reach out and let us know.
