The ASTA Logo is a badge of honor - it tells your customers that you are a skilled and ethical professional, dedicated to helping them successfully and safely travel the world. It's a well-recognized symbol of integrity, and since ASTA is the organization most commonly cited by the media when they recommend how to find a reliable travel advisor. Put the logo on your website, business cards, stationery, brochures to show that you are an ASTA member. Update Your ASTA.org Profile
One you Sign Into ASTA.org, click the "My Profile" button at the top of the page. Be sure your profile is updated with all your latest information, including your picture and specializations. This information is shown on the Member Directory, so when travelers are looking for an ASTA Travel Advisor, you will appear! |

Leverage The Consumer Leads Tool
The new ASTA.org website has a new Connect With a Travel Advisor feature which lets travelers enter the details of the trip they'd like to plan. These show up as Consumer Leads for you in ASTA.org. Each quote request includes the desired destination, number of travelers, and preferred budget, so you can respond to the ones that match your specialities. However, the travelers can limit the number of responses they receive, so you have to jump on them pretty quickly. The VTA program is ASTA's certification program. The coursework is 9 modules long, and it's actually quite valuable content well-designed to help you with the skills you need to succeed as a Travel Advisor.
